Leadership
Founder & Principal
Naimah Terry is the Founder and Principal of Terry Developments LLC — a Newark-based MWBE-certified real estate development and consulting firm committed to mission-driven infill development across urban communities.
She studied Community and Real Estate Development at Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, with additional studies in Applied Politics at George Washington University and ongoing professional development through the NJ Redevelopment Authority Institute seminars. She is a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Emerging Leaders Fellow.
Naimah brings 15 years of experience as an international fashion model and fit expert — with agencies in NYC, Miami, and Dubai, and clients including Victoria's Secret and Calvin Klein. Working at the center of international fashion supply chains, she developed a rare command of precision, systems thinking, and detail that she now applies directly to urban development and community investment.

Terry Developments is sponsoring an amendment to the Jersey City Jackson Hill Redevelopment Plan — expanding the transit density bonus boundary along the MLK Drive corridor. A plan that has not been amended in over 10 years. The amendment goes before the Jersey City Planning Board on April 14 with council support from Ward F Councilman Frank Gilmore. If approved, it unlocks increased density for The Ave at 539 MLK Drive and sets a new standard for transit-oriented development along the corridor.
